Lets Talk Health by Dr. Donsbach's
Biopsy Linked to Cancer Spread
Of course it is not news to my readers, but now we have The Archives of Surgery publishing an article by Dr. Nora M. Hansen of the John Wayne Cancer Institute which indicts needle biopsy of breast cancer as a cause of the spread of the disease. Women who have needle biopsy were 50 percent more likely to have metastatic cancer than those who did not.
As I have reported many times in the past, when you disrupt the cancer tissue with a needle, you release microscopic cancer cells which will use the blood stream to migrate to distant parts. When cancer metastasizes, the five year rate of recovery falls to less than 1%.
