These are good organizations but many have time frames of  7 to 20 days before you can get on the flight. 

Dealing with cancer victims mean hours matter. Cancer is like a fire out of control and needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.

If you have to pay for a flight because time is an element, than use an 800-number to talk to a real person at these airlines and get up to date information compared to finding information on the Internet. You'll a big difference.  

By calling an airline you get personal and up to date information. All you have to do is find someone at these airlines that cares to help you. I have called an airline back 3 times and finally got a person that will communicate and better prices and information. 

Ask for the price for senior citizen discount ticket. Then within a couple days of the flight time contact www.priceline.com and offer the price given for the senior citizen discount ticket. There may be open seats that they want to fill. I'm not sure if this will work but if it does please let us know.  

Check for senior citizen rates, then offer them that price.
