This is a great article covering acid and alkaline. The problem with the ionized water is that it does not have the needed surface tension needed to get pasted the cell walls and into the cells to flush the poisons out. The theory is great with the high pH and antioxidant properties.

Importance and Function in the Human Body |

Water is
necessary for every body function and proper daily intake is essential
for optimal health. The average adult body contains over 40 quarts of
water, about 70% of body mass. Blood is: 83% water, muscles, brain and
heart 75%, lungs 86%, kidney 83%, and Water is necessary for digestion, absorption of nutrients, circulation, lubrication, and elimination. It is a flushing agent and cleanser for all body liquids. Water facilitates the transport of toxins away from cells and tissues, and ultimate elimination through the kidneys. As a major component of blood plasma, water is necessary in bringing life-giving nutrients to every cell of the body. If the body is dehydrated, water will be allocated from less vital functions to critical areas such as the cardiovascular, nervous, and muscular systems. Over time insufficient water intake can lead to chronic dehydration, imbalance your body's pH, and cause serious health problems. How Much Water Should You Drink? Drinking sufficient water each day is not only essential for life, but also a basic requirement for maintaining optimal health. When evaluating the amount of water you consume each day, you cannot include such liquid as coffee, soft drinks, or alcohol. These liquids will ultimately dehydrate the body as they cause a net loss of body water reserves. The amount each person should drink depends on body size, climate, and your exercise regimen. A good rule of thumb is to drink 1/2 ounce daily for every pound of weigh. For example, a 150 lb. person would drink about 75 ounces of water daily, or approximately 2.5 quarts. So it is recommended that you drink a minimum of 8-10 glasses of water each day. It can be particularly healthy to start your day with a glass of water to flush your digestive tract and re-hydrate our body after a night's rest. |

Proper Body Acid / Alkaline Balance |

Whether a liquid is alkaline or acidic is determined by its pH, a chemistry term that means "potential hydrogen". When we calculate the pH of a liquid we are measuring the number of Hydroxyl (OH-) ions which are negative and therefore alkaline-forming, as opposed to the amount of hydrogen (H+) ions that are positive and therefore acid-forming. Neutrality is measured as 7 on the acid/alkaline scale. The pH scale ranges from 0 (the highest acidity) to 14 (the highest alkalinity). Chemists measure the degree of acidity of a liquid by the level of concentration of water-bound hydrogen ions, and the level of alkalinity by the number of Hydroxyl ions present. The following table shows the pH of several body fluids:
The human body has several complex systems for maintaining its critical acid/alkaline balance. Lungs breathe out increased amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) when there are excessive amounts present. When CO2 is dissolved in liquid it forms carbonic acid. The kidney eliminates acid through urine. The blood is also equipped with complex systems to maintain proper pH. It is essential that blood pH be maintained at a level of about 7.4 which is in the alkaline range. When the body is unable to maintain proper pH balance, there is danger that it will become overly acidic. Acids will then accumulate and are deposited in the body causing illness in the body. Although it is possible for the body to become overly alkaline, it is rare and usually caused by metabolic disorders. The most common condition is a tendency toward acidosis, caused by improper diet, environmental toxins, and stress. In the next chapter we will examine the causes and symptoms of acidosis and the dangers it presents to maintaining optimal health. |

Dangers of Acidosis: Causes, Symptoms, and Solutions |
|
Acidosis can be defined as the condition in which the acid/alkaline balance of the body has shifted unfavorably, and the body fluids have become overly acidic. Acidosis has been recognized as a contributing factor in many health conditions including gout, heartburn, gastritis, sore muscles, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, skin diseases, obesity, frequent colds and flus, and more serious conditions such as heart disease and cancer. An acidic body state creates an environment that can lead to disease, and speed up the aging process. Disease thrives in an acidic condition; the more acidic a person is, the more susceptible he is to disease. Symptoms of Acidosis Some of the symptoms of acidosis can include lack of energy, constipation, digestive problems such as indigestion and gas, gout, joint pain, chronic skin rashes, allergies, high blood pressure, reduced immune functions, and weight gain. Causes of Acidosis The causes of acidosis can include: inadequate or improper nutrition, insufficient intake of water, stress and too little or excessive exercise. 1) Nutrition and Acidosis The over consumption of acid-forming foods can be a major contributor to chronic acidosis. Certain foods such as meats, dairy products, and fried foods when consumed excessively can lead to an acid condition. Liquids such as coffee and alcohol can also create acidity in the body. 2) Water and Acidosis Insufficient intake of water can be another cause of acidosis, as water is necessary to wash acid wastes out of the body tissues. As we will see in future chapters, the proper type and amount of water consumed can be critical in maintaining proper pH balance in the body. 3) Stress Both physical and mental stress can lead to chronic acidosis. When the body is under stress, body systems produce acids as a natural reaction. The adrenal gland in particular is involved in secreting the stress hormones, cortisol and adrenaline. These hormonal secretions lead to an accelerated metabolic stage that increases acid levels in the body. 4) Exercise Level and pH Balance Lack of exercise can contribute to the accumulation of acids in the body. When we exercise, the body is stimulated to burn fatty acids as well as accumulated acids. Increased circulation improves the elimination of acid wastes from body tissues. On the other hand, excessive or overly intense exercise can result in the buildup of lactic acid in the muscles. Your approach to exercise should consist of moderate physical activity with a period of rest to allow the lactic acid levels to return to normal. 5) Reversing Chronic Metabolic Acidosis In designing a program to reduce acidity in the body and promote alkalinity, you mush remove the direct causes of acidosis. Consume alkaline foods such as fresh vegetables, green salads, and fruits such as bananas, and melons; and reduce the intake of acid foods. Reduce stress and exercise moderately. Finally, the amount and type of water You drink can greatly assist you in reversing acidosis. We will discuss this important topic in the following chapters. |

Alkaline Water: |
|
Ionized Alkaline Water is produced by a unique health appliance called a Water Ionizer. The Water Ionizer first passes the water from your kitchen faucet through an advanced filter to remove pesticides, chlorine, and contaminants. The water is then put through the ionization chamber and electrically splits the filtered water into alkaline water and acid water. This is done by running the pre-filtered water over positive and negative electrodes. A Water Ionizer has two water chambers with positive and negative electrodes. The negative electrode attracts positive minerals, which are the alkaline minerals, to its chamber, while the positive electrode attracts negatively charged minerals, which are acid minerals, to its chamber. The two chambers are separated by a special membrane with very tiny holes, so small that water molecules cannot go through, but large enough to permit the ionized minerals to get through. This ionization process takes place while the water is running through the water ionizer. A stream of alkaline water comes out of the stainless steel nozzle at the top of the unit, and the acid water comes out of the back to drain off into the sink. Approximately 70% of the water produced is alkaline and 30% is acid water. The common alkaline minerals concentrated by the water ionizer to produce alkaline water are calcium, magnesium, manganese and potassium. The acid minerals that are discarded include chlorine, fluoride, sulfur, phosphorus, bromine, silicon and copper. Water Ionizers were developed in the late 1950's by several Japanese Agricultural Universities. After the health benefits were well-researched and demonstrated, the water ionizer was approved as a Health Improvement Medical Device by the Health and Rehabilitation Ministry of the Japanese government. The better quality Water Ionizers have several levels of alkalinity. You can begin by drinking mildly alkaline water, slowly increasing the alkalinity over time. A water ionizer will typically produce water with a pH between 7 and 10. Alkaline water in the 8.5 to 9.5 range is sufficiently alkaline to produce the health benefits desired. Characteristics of Water Produced by a Water Ionizer:
1) Alkalinity Our lifestyle with high stress, exposure to environmental toxins, and poor eating habits, overload our body's natural defensive systems against acidity. The human body uses alkaline minerals to offset acids. When the body does not have sufficient alkaline mineral reserves it will pull them from other body organs and tissues like bones, the heart, and the teeth. A water ionizer provides a rich source of important alkaline minerals that the body can use to maintain proper pH balance. 2) Better Tasting A water ionizer produces water that is cleaner, healthier, and better tasting. Grains 3) Microclustered Water from a Water Ionizer is "microclustered", meaning it is grouped together in smaller clusters of 5-6 water molecules like clusters found in natural flowing spring water, instead of the 10-13 found in bottled or tap water. This makes it "microclustered" so it will be more quickly and easily absorbed and will hydrate cells and tissues more effectively. The hexagonal molecular structure resulting from electrolysis is what makes ionized water "wetter" than tap or bottles water. It is up to 6 times more hydrating than typical tap water. Therefore it permeates cellular membranes quickly to provide a natural energy lift. 4) Antioxidant Ionized Water has two antioxidant qualities - its negative charge and the presence of Hydroxyl ions. All liquids have an Oxidative Reduction Potential (ORP). Normal tap water has an ORP of +300 to +400 mv. It does not have any potential for reducing oxidation because its ORP is positive. Only a negative ORP can reduce or negate oxidation. Water produced by a quality Water Ionizer typically has an ORP of about -250 to -400 mv, meaning it can act as an antioxidant that can reduce oxidation, neutralize harmful free radicals, and retard the aging process. Alkaline water acts an an antioxidant, scavenging for and neutralizing free-radicals. Because alkaline water has the ability to give up electrons, it can effectively neutralize and block free radical damage to the body. Ionized Alkaline Water seeks out free radicals and converts them into oxygen which your body can use for energy production and tissue oxygenation. 5) Increased Oxygen Water produced by a Water Ionizer will contain a cloud of tiny bubbles in the water. This is oxygen that is consumed to produce higher levels of oxygen in the blood. As Ionized Alkaline Water is produced, Hydroxyl ions are created. These are oxygen molecules with an extra electron attached to them. In the same way mountain stream water passing over the surface of rocks picks up electrons and oxygen, Alkaline Water has high levels of Hydroxyl ions and oxygen. In the body, Hydroxyl ions scavenge for free radicals which are unstable oxygen molecules that cause cellular damage. When the Hydroxyl molecule and the free radical collide, the body is provided with high levels of oxygen which improves energy levels. Energy derived from oxygen is the best form of energy. It keeps us alert, invigorates our bodies, and carries vital nutrients throughout the body. Drinking Ionized Water on a regular basis will increase the levels of oxygen in the blood. This can be especially important for cancer patients who are often fatigued because their blood oxygen levels are low after being depleted by the process of mutual destruction between cancer cells and oxygen molecules. 6) Detoxification Benefits Ionized Water flushes acid wastes from the cells and tissues. Its greater permeability allows it to penetrate more deeply into body tissues. The flushing action provides an effective yet gentle form of detoxification. Water is essential for detoxification of the accumulated acid wastes in the body. It is the means by which toxins are flushed out of the body tissues for excretion through the kidneys. Modern living exposes us to a broad spectrum of toxins, including those we consume in the food we eat, toxins produced naturally in the body as a by product of normal metabolism, heavy metal exposure, and air pollution. VITAMIN D EXPERT FIRED FOR
RECOMMENDING SUNSHINE

Dr. Michael F. Holick, a professor at Boston
University's
medical school and a well-known researcher on the topic of
sunlight and vitamin D, was asked to resign from his position in
the dermatology department after the chairwoman of the
department criticized his conclusions.
Holick, author of the new book "The UV Advantage," has
spoken out about the importance of sun exposure to boosting
vitamin D levels and health. He says there are substantial
benefits of sunlight, including promoting strong bones and
easing depression, but public
health officials have been
portraying the sun as the enemy for so long that they don’t
want to hear any alternative conclusions.
But while the American Academy of
Dermatology is calling
Holick’s recommendations of receiving adequate sun exposure
for health benefits "irresponsible", other dermatologists say
Holick, who has authored over 100 published papers,
developed treatments for psoriasis and studied sunlight’s role in
vitamin D production, is extremely creative and ahead of his
time.
While Holick says that sunburns make skin
cancer more likely,
he contends that moderate sun exposure could reduce the risk
of prostate and breast cancers, based on epidemiological
studies suggesting a lower incidence of those cancers in
sunnier climates. He also says a few minutes of sun exposure
on bare skin several times a week can help reduce the
incidence of vitamin D deficiency, which occurs often in
northern cities where people don’t receive adequate sun
exposure during the winter months.
Although the resignation is largely symbolic--he will remain
director of BU Medical Center's Vitamin
D lab while continuing
to teach with no loss in salary--Holick believes he is being
punished for challenging one of the dogmas of dermatology.

What's in your Water?
One of the reasons for this is that Americans pride themselves in having very high quality water from every tap and assume that all water is the same. A thorough study of water in America and the world in general tells a different story. A few well-placed hours on the Internet show that the world is in an unprecedented water quality crisis as well as water shortage. Depending on what part of the country one lives in, it is easy to find trace amounts of chlorination byproducts, organics, nitrates, pesticides, heavy metals, radioactive compounds, petrochemicals and parasites coming from the local municipal water supply. If you get your water from a private well, all of these contaminants except for the chlorination byproducts can be present.
Toxins
The toxins and free radicals in these waters are made significantly more toxic to humans by the addition of chlorine -- a compound mandated by the public health department. The Environmental Protection Agency now reports that individuals who drink and bath in chlorinated surface waters (i.e., water from lakes, rivers and shallow wells) have a 50% greater likelihood of getting cancer in their lifetime.[1] [2] Even if you think you are safe because you drink bottled water, you may be surprised to learn that one can absorb up to 600% more contaminants in your body in a ten-minute shower than in all the water consumed in a day.[3]
MTBE
In January 2000, Sixty Minutes, the investigative TV program, reported that as many as 100 million Americans were drinking water contaminated with MTBE, a gasoline additive that has been leaching into our water supplies since 1992. MTBE is believed to cause cancer in concentrations as low as 10 parts per billion and unfortunately local water companies are helpless to remove it. Because of such contaminants, two out of every five households now have a water filter or drink bottled water, as will be discussed later, with no assurance of safety. The problem is that the average consumer and even most medical professionals do not know what is the best way to treat water or the best source of water to drink.

Studies
Dairy studies - An independent dairy study was conducted over a 10-month period in Idaho using a 3000-head dairy farm. The dairy cows, which had been monitored carefully for production and health for several years, were switched from normal well water to water treated by a special agricultural version of the Wellness Filter®. The daily milk production was monitored as was the somatic cell count in the milk (an indication of the general health of the cow - i.e., the higher the count the more infection the cow has). After the study was concluded, the herd's average daily milk production was seen to increase from 72 lbs/cow/day to 78 lbs/cow/day - a dramatic 8.3% increase. The somatic cell count also dropped from 200,000 cells/cc to approximately 100,000 cells/cc - a very dramatic 50% reduction. See figure below. This study was repeated on four other dairies over a two year period.
Potato studies - Potatoes in the US are generally harvested in September and October and stored in large enclosed buildings or bunkers. The potatoes are kept in the dark with their original dirt still on the skin and they are ventilated with 100% humidity air. The potatoes continue to live throughout the winter and spring and are extracted and delivered to the market as market needs require. Because of the highly moist and dark conditions, such potato facilities suffer high loses (12% to 25%) in potatoes due to mold and fungus. A two-year study was conducted during which Wellness Filtered water was used to replace the well water that was normally sprayed into the ventilation system of a large potato storage facility (containing 12.5 million Idaho potatoes). Prior to the introduction of a special agricultural version of Wellness Filter® water, the fungal spore count in the facility was around 60,000 active spore counts/cubic foot. Two weeks after changing the source water to Wellness Filter Water, the count dropped 4,000 counts/cubic foot.. a 99.3% reduction. After one full year of monitoring and counting every damaged potato, the special Wellness system (marketed under the name of Agripurifier) was observed to reduce the fungal losses to less then 4% -- a significant drop. Independent monitoring of the program by the University of Idaho College of Agriculture verified that the reduction in crop losses could be attributed solely to the use of the Agripurifier system.

This cartoon attempts to portray the destruction of
food nutrients by microwave ovens. Microwaving food alters its molecular
structure in ways that modern scientists still don't completely understand. The
effects on the human body are simply not understood, but one thing we do know is
that microwaving vegetables and fruits destroys as much as 97% of the
phytonutrient nutrition they once contained.
In other words, eating raw broccoli provides you with natural anti-cancer
medicine that's extremely effective at halting the growth of cancer tumors. But
microwaving that broccoli destroys the anti-cancer nutrients, rendering
the food "dead" and nutritionally depleted. There's even some evidence
to suggest that microwaving destroys the natural harmony in water molecules,
creating an energetic pattern of chaos in the water found in all foods. In fact,
the common term of "nuking" your food is coincidentally appropriate:
Using a microwave is a bit like dropping a nuclear bomb on your food, then
eating the fallout. (You don't actually get radiation from eating microwaved
foods, however. But you don't get much nutrition, either.)
Why microwave users are so unhealthy
Consumers are dying today in part because they continue to eat dead foods
that are killed in the microwave. They take a perfectly healthy piece of raw
food, loaded with vitamins and natural medicines, then stick it in the microwave
and destroy most of its nutrition. Humans are the only species that destroys the
nutritional value of food before eating it. All other animals consume food in
its natural, unprocessed state, but humans actually go out of their way to
render food nutritionally worthless before eating it. No wonder humans are the
least healthy species on the planet.
The invention of the microwave and its mass adoption by the population coincides
with the onset of obesity in developed nations around the world. Not only did
the microwave make it convenient to eat more obesity-promoting foods, it also
destroyed much of the nutritional content of those foods, leaving consumers in
an ongoing state of malnourished overfeeding. In other words, people eat too
many calories but not enough real nutrition. The result is, of course,
what we see today: Epidemic rates of diabetes, cancer, heart disease,
depression, kidney failure, liver disorders and much more. These diseases are
all caused by a combination of malnutrition and exposure to toxic chemicals.
Microwaves make malnutrition virtually automatic, and being exposed to toxic
chemicals is easy to accomplish by simply eating processed foods (which are
universally manufactured with the addition of toxic chemicals that act as
preservatives, colorings, flavor enhancers and so
on).
Microwaving is, technically, a form of food irradiation. I find it interesting
that people who say that would never eat "irradiated" food have no
hesitation about microwaving their food. It's the same thing (just a different
wavelength of radiation). In fact, microwaves were originally called "radar
ranges." Sounds strange today, doesn't it? But
when microwaves were first introduced in the 1970's, they were proudly
advertised as radar ranges. You blast your food with high-intensity radar and it
gets hot. This was seen as some sort of space-age miracle in the 1970's.
The microwave does work as advertised. It makes your food hot. But the mechanism
by which heat is produced causes internal damage to the delicate molecular
structures of vitamins and phytonutrients. Minerals are largely unaffected,
however, so you'll still get the same magnesium, calcium and zinc in microwaved
foods as you would in non-microwaved foods, but the all-important B vitamins,
anthocyanins, flavonoids and other nutritional elements are easily destroyed by
microwave ovens.
The microwave is the appliance of the living dead. People who use the microwave
on a regular basis are walking down a path towards degenerative disease and a
lifelong battle with obesity. The more you use the microwave, the worse your
nutritional state gets, and the more likely you are to be diagnosed with various
diseases and put on pharmaceuticals which, of course, will create other health
problems that lead to a grand spiraling nosedive of health.
Do yourself a favor: Toss your microwave, or donate it to some charity. It's
much easier to avoid using the microwave if you don't have one around. It will
clear up counter space, save you electricity and greatly enhance your dietary
habits. When you need to heat something, heat it in a toaster oven or a stovetop
pan (avoid Teflon and non-stick surfaces, of course). Better yet, strive to eat
more of a raw, unprocessed diet. That where you'll get the
best nutrition anyway. Buy yourself a Vita-Mix and blend up some
smoothies. It's faster than microwaving foods are far healthier. (See my book

I drink a superfood smoothie every morning, and I haven't used a microwave in
years. Protecting health is our own responsibility, and it's up to us all to
make informed decisions about how we buy, prepare and consume our foods. Because
in the end, Vita-Man won't come to save you. You have to save yourself

It’s being called the largest research fraud in medical history. Dr. Scott Reuben, a former member of Pfizer’s speakers’ bureau, has agreed to plead guilty to faking dozens of research studies that were published in medical journals.
Now being reported across the mainstream media is the fact that Dr. Reuben accepted a $75,000 grant from Pfizer to study Celebrex in 2005. His research, which was published in a medical journal, has since been quoted by hundreds of other doctors and researchers as “proof” that Celebrex helped reduce pain during post-surgical recovery. There’s only one problem with all this: No patients were ever enrolled in the study!
Dr. Scott Reuben, it turns out, faked the entire study and got it published anyway.
It wasn’t the first study faked by Dr. Reuben: He also faked study data on Bextra and Vioxx drugs, reports the Wall Street Journal.
As a result of Dr. Reuben’s faked studies, the peer-reviewed medical journal Anesthesia & Analgesia was forced to retract 10 “scientific” papers authored by Reuben. The Day of London reports that 21 articles written by Dr. Reuben that appear in medical journals have apparently been fabricated, too, and must be retracted.
After being caught fabricating research for Big Pharma, Dr. Reuben has reportedly signed a plea agreement that will require him to return $420,000 that he received from drug companies. He also faces up to a 10-year prison sentence and a $250,000 fine. [No doubt he will get a pardon from Obama who also works for the Banksters…just watch.]
He was also fired from his job at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. after an internal audit there found that Dr. Reuben had been faking research data for 13 years. (http://www.theday.com/article/20100…)
What’s notable about this story is not the fact that a medical researcher faked clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry. It’s not the fact that so-called “scientific” medical journals published his fabricated studies. It’s not even the fact that the drug companies paid this quack close to half a million dollars while he kept on pumping out fabricated research.
The real story here is that this is business as usual in the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Reuben’s actions really aren’t that extraordinary. Drug companies bribe researchers and doctors as a routine matter. Medical journals routinely publish false, fraudulent studies. FDA panel members regularly rely on falsified research in making their drug approval decisions, and the mainstream media regularly quotes falsified research in reporting the news.
Fraudulent research, in other words, is widespread in modern medicine. The pharmaceutical industry couldn’t operate without it, actually. It is falsified research that gives the industry its best marketing claims and strongest FDA approvals. Quacks like Dr Scott Reuben are an important part of the pharmaceutical profit machine because without falsified research, bribery and corruption, the industry would have very little research at all.
Pay special attention to the fact that the Anesthesia & Analgesia medical journal gladly published Dr. Reuben’s faked studies even though this journal claims to be a “scientific” medical journal based on peer review. Funny, isn’t it, how such a scientific medical journal gladly publishes fraudulent research with data that was simply invented by the study author. Perhaps these medical journals should be moved out of the non-fiction section of university libraries and placed under science fiction.
Remember, too, that all the proponents of pharmaceuticals, vaccines and mammograms ignorantly claim that their conventional medicine is all based on “good science.” It’s all scientific and trustworthy, they claim, while accusing alternative medicine of being “woo woo” wishful thinking and non-scientific hype. Perhaps they should have a quick look in the mirror and realize it is their own system of quack medicine that’s based largely on fraudulent research, bribery and corruption.
You just have to laugh, actually, when you hear pushers of vaccines and pharmaceuticals claim their medicine is “scientific” while natural medicine is “unproven.” Sure it’s scientific — about as scientific as the storyline in a Scooby Doo cartoon, or as credible as the medical license of a six-year-old kid who just received a “let’s play doctor” gift set for Christmas. Many pharmaceutical researchers would have better careers as writers of fiction novels rather than scientific papers.
For all those people who ignorantly claim that modern pharmaceutical science is based on “scientific evidence,” just give them these three words: Doctor Scott Reuben.
Don’t forget that the drug companies openly supported Dr. Scott Reuben’s research. They paid him, in fact, to keep on fabricating studies.
The drug companies claim to be innocent in all this, but behind the scenes they had to have known what was going on. Dr. Reuben’s research was just too consistently favorable to drug company interests to be scientifically legitimate. If a drug company wanted to “prove” that their drug was good for some new application, all they had to do was ask Dr. Reuben to come up with the research (wink wink). “Here’s another fifty thousand dollars to study whether our drug is good for post-surgical pain (wink).”
And before long, Dr. Reuben would magically materialize a brand new study that just happened to “prove” exactly what the sponsoring drug company wanted to prove. What is Herpes? Herpes simplex is a virus that is responsible for cold sores and genital herpes. There are two types of Herpes simplex viruses: type 1 (HSV-1) is most often responsible for cold sores (also referred to as fever blisters) while type 2 (HSV-2) is responsible for nearly 90% of cases of genital herpes (the remaining 10% are caused by HSV-1). In some people (mostly children) an initial HSV-1 infection may cause: fever; painful swelling and open sores on the gums and inside the cheeks; or a painful, sore throat. When these herpes symptoms do develop, they usually begin 2 to 12 days after exposure to someone with HSV-1. Symptoms of a first episode of genital herpes usually appear within two to 10 days of exposure to the virus and last an average of two to three weeks.
